PCE are delighted to report a clean bill of health, following our first year surveillance audit, with the British Assessment Bureau. On the 20th February, the Quality Management Team hosted J. Cowie from the BAB, to complete the first of two surveillance audits.
PCE initially gained our ISO 9001 in 2016 and we have built robust auditing and improvement systems, to ensure compliance with this internationally recognised qualification. During 2017, PCE boosted our ranks with the addition of a new Technical Author and Operations Manager, who both arrive with a wealth of auditing and performance management experience, to complement the existing team.
A massive congratulations to everyone involved, for their hard work and dedication to the Quality Management System and especially to Terry Cook (Quality Manager) and his auditing team, who have identified and enacted opportunities for improvement.
Quality Manager Terry Cook commented “At PCE we don’t see the ISO as just a certificate. As a team, we commit to identifying areas on which we can improve (as a business) and we capitalise on improvement opportunities. We have employed a new Operations Manager and Technical Author, who both come with a wealth of Auditing and Quality Management System experience, so we look forward to driving on in 2018, seizing the opportunity to improve ourselves in the areas that we have identified, as the business continues to grow”.
Well done to all concerned. Lets get ready for the 2019 audit !!!
